Marry the Night” is a song by American recording artist Lady Gaga. It was released as the fifth single from her second studio album, Born This Way (2011). The song was written and produced by Lady Gaga and Fernando Garibay, and was recorded on the tour bus during The Monster Ball Tour with Garibay. Revealed in February 2011, the song was inspired by the energy of Gaga’s previous song “Dance in the Dark” and the love for her hometown, New York City. The song was released for promotion on Farmville, six days before the release of Born This Way.
Last night UK television channel ITV aired the much hyped and talked about Beyoncé special A Night With Beyoncé recorded at London’s Fountain Studios earlier in the year which was hosted by Steve Jones and the R&B/pop icon performed some of her greatest and best known hits including tracks from her recently released album 4. The superstar singer also answered questions from some of the fans in the building.
Glee: The Music, Volume 7 is an upcoming Glee album. It will feature 15 songs. This album is the second album for Season 3, the first being Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album Volume 2. The songs are from the season’s first arc – which are episodes one to nine. Episode nine’s songs will not be featured on this album because that is the Christmas themed episode, which will be featured on a separate album.
Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles returns as host of the special featuring traditional songs and memories of holiday experiences. Scheduled performers include Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill and Darius Rucker.
