Hi Hakan. Reference #84-11 June 2020 and #104-13 June 2020, Spitfire: Birth Of A Legend, is a movie listed on Timeline-World-History Documentaries. As I have the url I can play it on my computer monitor but what I’m trying to do is get a digital movie copy of the documentary to play on my big screen TV (as a movie (via a Western Digital Media Player using an external 5TB Hard Drive.) As Max has been able to do this for me in the past…, is why I was hoping he could again. Especially since it’s one of the BEST docs ever made concerning the Spitfire…!
My concern now is for Max. An online friend I’ve known for years and come to deeply care about. I’m sure you know he’s got many more here that feel the same way. Please (as he would always say) let us know what’s going on and if he’s OK or not…?

The 1st. was for: Spitfire: Birth of a Legend a request I made to Max at the end of a thank you for one of his posts in May. Not hearing anything, I again asked for it on #84 – 11 June here. On #100 – 13 June Mr. Harkan AYL Support answered: I’m trying to find it. If i can, i will post later for you. Almost every movie files I downloaded in the last 2-3 months, I get this error. I check the ‘Keep the broken file’ option in WinRar so that the rar extracts the files with error message similar to the one I posted.
When I play the file, it stops at some portions with some grainy images. It takes away the movie watching experience.
One solution is, like ‘In the Mood for Love’, you may please upload a 720P BRRIP .mkv version directly instead of .rar file. That file worked like a charm.

Ref: #298. I downloaded the Pink Floyd movie but its all mixed up with 24 crazy movie files: TS Videos, BUP and VOB files. Some play a portion of the movie then abruptly end. Others do nothing. Is there anyway for you to gather up all of this into a regular movie…? I’ve tried everyway I can think of to make it play on my TV using a WD media player via a WD ext. HD…!! What I could get to play was great though. Hopefully you can find a regular movie of the concert. Please.
@GtD: The rar-files contain the image of a complete DVD. You can watch on your PC with VLC-player (www.videolan.org) by starting the file VIDEO_TS.IFO. Then it comes up with the DVD menu and can be played like a normal DVD.
You can also use MakeMKV (www.makemkv.com) to convert losslessly to one or several mkv-files which you can play on your WD media player.
Btw. I downloaded DVD2 of the Pulse post and it extracted with no problems and the file played flawlessly on the VLC-player.

I am still ecstatic about your much-appreciated supply of Picket Fences – a supply had I had thought always to evade me. Very recently, I was astounded that as I was about to ask for the 1993 movie, Malice BUT it appeared amongst your offerings – beating my request for it by about five minutes! Wow! That is astounding – BEFORE I even had the chance to ask for it. Spookily superb!
The to-date non-supply of the 1970’s-1980’s Vega$ TV series – also requested in my first post (#279) – well, I was so excited by Picket Fences, I was not going to spoil the moment by pushing for that. That would appear ungrateful – and I was definitely not that.
Now, if I may ask – very happy that you had previously provided the `Battle of Brisbane’ boxing bout of Manny Pacquaio vs Jeff Horn – I was wondering (well, hopeful), if it is at all possible, to make available the very recent Tim Tszyu vs Jeff Horn contest (from Wednesday of this week – on Foxtel here in Australia, but I am unsure how else). Of course, only if possible. I was of the belief that Picket Fences was impossible. But You delivered and I cannot stop smiling about that!
Thank you for your magnificent website and those treasures you make available every day. I certainly understand if you are unable to provide this boxing match – or the Vega$ series. Sorry to harp on this – it in no way suggests that you are not searching. My membership is due to cease in just over a month’s time. And I am racing a personal deadline. As the retired half of my marriage, I run up the bills! My dear wife (retiring next year) pays them. I have until next year – her retirement – to find all of the `shows’ I can – or I cease looking at that time!!! This deal was struck three years ago! I am on the `home straight’!
You have already provided, on my first request, Picket Fences – a matter of great pleasure for me! You had already available The Lawman – excellent! Both the Bob Newhart/Newhart shows – magnificent!
Although I already have (only) the first season of Vega$ (on DVD), I did submit a request (in hope) for this – – in posts 279 and 345. The imdb reference is https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077093/ . In 345, I also pushed my luck a little further, seeking last week’s Tim Tszyu vs Jeff Horn boxing match, held in Australia. And I still hope desperately for both of these in the month to come..
I did NOT ask for Zorro – the Disney tv series starting in the late 1950’s. I had already bought these, as 2 DVD boxsets, from France. And if I cannot get Vega$ – well, the other seasons that I do not already have DVDs for – I will be seeking further DVDs/BluRays everywhere that my retirement allows.
The same will apply to my final request, here – please – a TV western show – contemporary to The Lawman, Bonanza, Cheyenne (which you already have) and Maverick (which VIP’s can access). PLEASE, if at all possible, provide – or please advise how I might access these through others – the sibling-show to Cheyenne – Bronco (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0051261/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1).
If none of this can be found – and I can only stress that I have found so very much here, my membership has been VERY well spent – I will focus on a full-on search of everything internet, garage sales, `blanket’ emails, etc. I will continue to recommend AllYouLike to so many of the people whom I come contact with – advising of the enormous treasure trove you control.
If, as seems likely now, I will not be able to access the the three `shows listed here, I will search frantically elsewhere, hoping to `beat’ my wife’s retirement date and thereby honouring our `deal.

Further to my post above – number 381 – I had a great run of downloads this morning (Sydney time being 2 hours ahead of the time noted against posts here).
Suddenly, attempts to download were having `connections time out’. A couple of times at first – then all. Downloads ceased altogether.
Thinking that it may simply be site traffic, I `went away’ for an hour plus. But coming back, the problem persisted. With internet provider monthly maintenance over an 8 hour window tomorrow, I had hoped to cram more into today.
I contacted my internet service provider – even though I was having no other download issues on any other sites. Tests showed I was easily above expectations 109.4 Mbps. Still every time I tried AllYouLike, I could get no more downloads. Signed-in `check’. Cable connections `check’. Re-boot routers, modems and desktop.
I do not know if this issue is in any way related to my post 381 (above). I have submitted the concern to RareFile.net. I repeat – any other site that I have tried, downloads are rapid and reliable.
There does not appear – to me anyway – to be as many `uploads’ during my site issues. Maybe the site is suffering some larger problem? I do not know know where such advice would be available to advise members.
Hoping that someone can advise. I have only extended my membership to January in the last couple of days. So I hope this is only a very short-term issue.

I am happy to report that the issues that I have previously advised – in posts 381 and 384 – seem to no longer persist. I did get a detailed advice from RareFile.net, but as the problems seem to ceased, I will not have, at least for the moment, any immediate need for that advice.
Max and team, you are always sure to acknowledge/respond to requests here. That did not happen – here – with my over-long request, at POST 370. In that post, I did repeat an earlier request and added a further one for the TV series Bronco, which ran along-side Cheyenne – with the shows sometimes having their characters appear on each other’s show.
To be fair, within hours of my post 370, one of the shows that I had repeated my request for, was posted – and I happily declared as much in my post 372. I was ecstatic. Not the usual acknowledgement, but one of the requests delivered! So I can hardly rebuke the lack of an acknowledging post.
I write now ONLY to highlight those as-yet not available shows:

I have even tracked down DVDs over ten years and more! Some searches still remain unfulfilled over a longer time!
Still, while thanking you – very much – for provision of two of my requests in the past, I hope – really, really, really hope – that you can indeed come through, on the more-recently-requested BRONCO and TSZYU VS HORN. An inability to find and supply, I can understand fully. I have experienced such things many times! As a collector of such things, I find it very hard not to try. Without your usual acknowledgement post, I am unsure if my request had even been seen. Just checking.

While groaning about another issue with strangled downloading from this site – and this site only – while gathering Lone Ranger episodes, you had posted on that Lone Ranger site that my twice-requested Bronco was available! It worked wonders for my aggravation. I `sped’ there and expressed my gratitude.
I ONLY THEN observed that the downloads were available for VIP Members ONLY. My first thought was `what the …’. I had pushed for this show. I also made the mistake (acknowledged) of advising that my only other option was over $300 Australian from Amazon – with only three of those sets available.
I recalled how I had asked about VIP membership in the past. I was referred to an email address, which I quickly wrote to – only to have received NO response for many hours. But by then, I had written to that same address advising not to worry about it! And it did not seem there was any worry about it – despite the grateful and encouraging email I received about purchasing VIP membership.
I can surmise from post 408, here, that there seems to be delays. I note your response, some almost 12 hours later, that the matter was eventually resolved.
So, a little put out that my requested show is only for VIP Members. A little apprehensive as to expected delays in even becoming a VIP member before I can access my requested show. And this after a further download issue – with quick episode downloads, being followed, in that same post, by downloads advised in terms of `days’ to complete. In fairness this did slowly rectify itself, I think. Still no other site – at that same time – gave me anything but prompt downloads.
I hope to `hear’ from you expeditiously, as to what `surcharge’ I will pay for downloading my granted show request.
Thank you – in advance – for, I hope, a quick resolution to a matter that has, in my view, taken a fair bit of the `shine’ from AllYouLike – and will, no doubt, be reflected in any advice for others that I might provide. On my own chatroom and the other twelve chatrooms that I have some involvement in. As a retiree, I have lots of time.

Having finished with my spluttering now – and with the quick process of my VIP request (THANK YOU) – and, happily the resulting access to the requested `Bronco’ – I do sincerely thank AllYouLike for those aspects – and the very many joys I have found here. So many, many more benefits then negatives!
In the final tally, I am VERY happy to get those `Bronco’ episodes that I (sort of) recall from 1960’s. And as a VIP member, I also am able to access other shows that I fondly remember – notably the original `Ironside’ and even, for a more family-oriented show, `Eight is Enough’. My wife gives me sigh and a head-shake at most of the other VIP content – but knows that I am too old and too medicated to be enthused by the more `adult’ offerings! 🙂

Although preliminary checks – BEFORE I asked here – were with Amazon, and similar, and came up `empty’. Since I asked here, however, I widened my own search.
YouTube has most of the show – albeit in fairly poor quality.
I have now found at least three `suppliers’ who claim to have very good copies of the whole series! Of course, how good the suppliers actually are – or their merchandise – will need to be determined by purchase.
BUT a show `in hand’ is better than waiting and hoping for what you have declared difficult to find!

Thanks for the reassurance – I only made the note, here, as an advice to you. The irritation was minor, having to keep `telling’ the warning block that I would proceed, against its advice. But it ceased fairly soon after.
I was already aware that Premium Membership payment is to a third party. VIP membership is conducted only incompletely around the site and requires personal confirmation. So not a problem at this site!

I tried three times to post `error’ message reassurances yesterday. None `stuck’. All three posts were essentially the same message – just three failed attempts to post them. At least failed yesterday. Now all seem `here’ today!
The one post not here, had successfully shown against #452. I have the screen capture and sent it as an attachment to Max’s email.
You can read my reference to it – in my 451 post: “The first of two notes (sorry).”. But then it appears to be deleted.
`Mike’ post then (and now) shows against 452. I sent the `before’ and `after’ screen captures attachments to Max’s email address, previously advised by Maverick.

Hi -team maxdugan, I’m having trouble playing Hard Boiled (your .mp4 copy) on the TV via my WD Media Player. I get a great picture but Japanese vocals. I’ve downloaded the English .srt and loaded them as usual but when I play it on my TV via my media player (as I do all your movies) I am unable to get the sound in English. As I have not ever experienced this problem, I’m thinking it must somehow be related to it being that the mp4 doesn’t recognize the Eng. .srt…!!! When I download the .avi copy it recognizes the English .srt and loads just fine. But then the picture is then of poor quality. Would you try to find me a copy of the movie in 720p-1080p .mkv Please.

How do I remove hardcoded embedded subtitle from a movie? For example, English subtitle from an English speaking movie. I’ve been encountered quite a bit of those movies I downloaded from here lately. When I put them on a flash drive and watch them on TV, they are fine; but when I burned them to a disc, the burning software detects them, which I didn’t realize it until I start to watch them on TV. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Thank you for trying to help me get a digital copy of the movie: “Spitfire: Birth of a Legend” 2006. For quite some time now now I’ve been trying to get a digital copy of the movie to put in my library for playing via my WD-Media player via a 5 TB WD external hard-drive. As I do not know how to make digital copies of movies, about the only way of getting them, so far, has been through AYL’s -team maxdugan. I have explained this to the team, but so far I’ve only been told that they would see what could be done … as I still don’t know whether or not they can get it…, about all I can do is be patient and keep asking for it until either it’s posted or told they can not get it…!!! As I’m not a member of You Tube and use Internet Download Manager I do not know how to do what you suggest. Are there instructions somewhere I can go to find out how to do what you suggest…?

@GarythedRAt Install jdownloader following the link of the ad up on the right side of this page. You may also need Java and ffmpeg but I guess the installer should guide you through that.
The software is free and helps a lot with downloading. IDM is similar but not free and I don’t know whether it can download from YT. Personally I stay away from any cracked software.
Once installed you just copy the Youtube URL (no need for any membership!) from your browser to the clipboard und JD will find the download links for you. Start the link and the file will be on your HDD in less than a minute (depending on your ISP speed).

Hi -team maxdugan. I’m guessing martial-arts movies are really hard to get. I’ve tried eleven of them so far without any success, so – I can only imagine how very hard they must be to find when you can’t get them…! In any event, I’m thinking it might be easier if I requested movies done by a better known Kung fu artist, i.e. Jet Li…! I know he’s out there and very well known as well. Hello Max. I am having the same problem again. I waited for the required 24 hours and then tried to start downloading again. I think your system is haywire. First it tells me I exceeded my 5GB limit. So I logged out and then back in..then it tells me that I’ve exceed by 10GB limit.
I waited for the required time period and should be able to download again.

Hello Max. I contacted rarefile.net as you suggested. All I want is to be able to download the way I was doing before. The person i communicated with has set up some kind of special download link and I am not sure what is going on because of the language barrier. I don’t know what your relationship there is with the rarefile folks: I can only recommend that they find somebody that has a better command of English. I’m sure he’s a very good guy and he has been doing the best he can to assist me. But, the bottom line is: my problem is still unresolved. I purchased a 30 days premium membership at rarefile.net as a trial to see how it works before I commit to one year. Unfortunately, I am unable to use my VPN and it seems rarefile.net blocks VPN IP addresses. I have sent them two messages through “contact us” in the past 5 days, but no response. On top this, their download speed extremely slow (510kb or less) for a premium account. I know you promote their service and their site a lot and hope you are aware of their limitations.

I’ve been using Jdownloader to download from your site for years. I liked it as it would show me if I already had downloaded a file that I was about to download and save me from downloading twice. Does IDM notify you if you try to download a file you;ve already downloaded? I tried to download IDM but it was blocked by chrome and wouldn’t let me.
I found out what the problem is. There is nothing wrong with jdownloader. Rarefile is creating temporary download links now! I have to click on the link which will bring up rarefile window. I then have to click on the link again to create a 24hr temporary link. If I copy that link, jdownloader then sees it and can download it. Not good! Is there a way to automate this now that this is like this?
I downloaded IDM with firefox and installed. It has the same problem.. Rarefile has 8KB files which you have to click on their site to create a 24hr link that is downloadable. Is this what we have to do now to download a file? That means I have to manually download each one and not just add them to Jdownloader or IDM?
Ok. I found the solution. It seems rarefile is only allowing direct download to premium(paid) members. So I had to go into my account settings and check the direct download box and save settings. I now can download again with Jdownloader!

Hey Max, Thanks. You must have missed my last post #1079. the problem was one of those versions or an update to rarefile must have had the “direct download” box unchecked. Once I “checked” that direct download box on my rarefile account page and saved it, everything was fine again. I can download with Jdownloader again. I assume it happened when they(rarefile) updated to make the links available for direct download only for premium accounts. Free accounts have to now do it manually. Free accounts no longer have the ability to direct download.

Can you please post episodes 11-16 of Season 16 of Ancient Aliens??? They are the only ones missing from the entire series (earlier today you posted the first episode of season 17), thanks in advance!

According to IMDB, season 16 includes additional episodes (prior to my request I remember them listing a total of 16 episodes while now they are listing 14, some of which have future air dates thus they obviously have been shifted to season 17 & the site has not been properly updated yet. Please ignore my request for now as I believe all missing episodes will be posted as part of Season 17.
According to the Wikipedia episode guide the last two mentioned above are the first episodes of Season 17. but after checking this now I cannot verify the existence of such episodes anywhere. I assume that they have been shifted to Season 17

You’ve already posted the original English-written eBook/pdf of the book here on AYL. I am seeking the Italian version. It was translated into Italian because the story takes place here in Italy, and the author is Italian-American.
You also have already posted the 2017 film in 1080-BluRay here on AYL. Could I also request the Italian-dubbed version of the film “Chiamami col tuo nome”? The film was nominated for 4 Academy Awards and won one.

As I always search your previously posted movie log for all movies before making any request, I did so this time as well …entering the name in caps, and in lower case. Also with and without “The” before “Queen’s Gambit. I also entered it as “The Queens Gambet” mis-Spelled with an (e) as opposed to an (i)…, HOWEVER it totally escaped my trying to enter it without showing the possive ‘s as: “The QUEEN”S Gambit.” My BADD…!!!
