Now Queen’s legendary Wembley concerts are being reissued as a 2DVD anniversary edition! Disc 1 features the Saturday performance, while disc 2 features the previously unreleased Friday, July 11th Wembley performance, along with previously unseen bonus features. The DVD footage has been restored for the Anniversary edition and the sound has also been re-mastered with a brand new stereo mix and 5.1 sound.

On April 20th 1992, Roger Taylor, Brian May and John Deacon, the surviving members of Queen, took to the stage at Wembley Stadium for the start of one of the biggest events in rock history, which the band had organized to pay tribute to their former colleague the incomparable Freddie Mercury.

The Monster Ball Tour was the second worldwide concert tour by American recording artist Lady Gaga. Staged in support of her extended play The Fame Monster (2009) and comprising a set list of songs from that and her debut album The Fame (2008), the tour visited arenas and stadiums from 2009 through 2011. Described as “the first-ever pop electro opera” by Gaga – The tour received general critical acclaim, with critics praising Gaga’s singing abilities, the theatricality of the show, and her sense of style and fashion. The Monster Ball was a commercial success, with sold-out shows and demand for tickets prompting organizers to add more dates to the itinerary. It ultimately grossed an estimated US$227.4 million from 200 reported shows and an audience of 2.5 million.

Simon and Garfunkel

The Concert in Central Park is the first live album by American folk rock duo Simon & Garfunkel, released in February 1982 on Warner Bros. Records. It was recorded in September 1981 at a free benefit concert in Central Park, New York City, where the pair performed in front of more than 500,000 people. Proceeds went toward the redevelopment and maintenance of the run-down green space in the middle of Manhattan. This concert and album marked the start of a short-lived reunion for Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel.

Directed by John Landis, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Michael Jackson, the song was released from Jackson’s sixth studio album of the same name. It was MTV’s first world premiere video. Voted as the most influential pop music video of all time, Thriller proved to have a profound effect on popular culture.
