One thing that Pink has never been accused of is being repetitive or boring. Bringing her show straight from the stage and into your lounge room is the DVD of her latest tour which was filmed in Sydney on the 17th and 18th of July 2009. From the opening where you see Pink waking up on the couch after a big night, you know that you are going to be in for a visual feast and a truly theatrical performance. A pantomime starts the show by running around the stage exciting the crowd and turning a gear to lift our favorite performer out of a trap door.

See an evening hosted by Michael with special guests Justin Bieber, Kellie Pickler, Thalia and more. The debonair Canadian retro-crooner hits the standards in a deluxe outing that recalls (not surprisingly) the iconic 1950s holiday albums of his vocal ancestor, Frank Sinatra. If there’s not a lot that’s new here, Bublé carries off this fan-pleasing set with smooth aplomb and good spirits. The Latin singer Thalia and country star Shania Twain join in, most notably for Twain on a chipper Mills Brothers-style “White Christmas.”
Michael Bublé is back this Christmas The Christmas special about Michael Buble will cover the singer’s biggest moments and his life and career so far.
Michael’s “Dangerous Tour” was the biggest tour any performer had done in history, breaking his own record from the preceding “Bad Tour.” The incredible staging took nearly three days to set up, and 20 trucks of equipment were shipped between countries on cargo planes, making headlines everywhere it went. The “Dangerous Tour” included 69 concerts reaching over 3.5 million fans.
George Michael winds down his 25 Live tour in his first-ever concert film, which finds the former Wham! leading man revisiting hits familiar and fresh in two sold-out shows at London’s Earls Court. Michael’s impeccable vocals take center stage, and his pop-song prowess is driven home with such classics as “Faith,” “Freedom” and “One More Try.” Even “Careless Whisper” gets a nod, as does the Police’s “Roxanne.”
One of the world’s biggest bands return to the scene of their Live Aid (1985) triumph a year earlier to play all their greatest hits in front of a packed Wembley Stadium.
In 1989, the Rolling Stones go on their “Steel Wheels” tour: Jagger, Richards, Watts, Wood, and Wyman, backed by three singers, a sax, four horns, and two keyboards. In Turin, Berlin, and London, they perform on a gigantic stage in front of masses. The staging includes huge air-filled figures of women and of a wolf; there are fireworks and a light show. On stage, the musicians are sometimes yards apart, with Jagger racing up and down wide staircases that project like wings to the left and right of the stage. All the while, the music pours forth, sixteen songs in all, from “Satisfaction” and “Sympathy for the Devil” to “Start Me Up” and “Rock and a Hard Place.”
They’re pretty and they make good music too! This seems to be the layman’s reaction when first setting eyes upon the intra-family pop group that is The Corrs. Three beautiful sisters and a brother make up this Irish sensation whose unique blend of traditional Celtic music and pop music have propelled them into pop stardom. Huge in the U.K. for a couple of years now, the Corrs are poised to become chart toppers in America as well. This acoustic performance was filmed at Ardmore Studio’s in Dublin, and serves to demonstrate their talent at writing original and beautiful music.
