Set in an American town, GRACEPOINT is the American version of the U.K.’s most-watched new drama of the year, “Broadchurch.” The gripping crime series follows the tragic and mysterious death of a young boy found dead on an idyllic beach surrounded by rocks and a jutting cliff-face, from where he may have fallen. Although the cause of his death remains unsolved, the picturesque seaside town where the tragedy occurred is at the heart of a major police investigation and a nationwide media frenzy.

Season 01, Episode 01 – “Pilot”
A young boy, Danny Solano, is found dead on an idyllic beach in the small seaside town of gracepoint, spurring a major investigation lead by detective Emmett Carver, who has just arrived in gracepoint to fill a high position in the town’s police force. That job previously had been promised to detective Ellie Miller, who, in light of the tragedy, must put any resentment aside and work the case with her prickly new boss. Danny’s parents Mark and Beth Solano, and his older sister, Chloe are devastated by the news, which carves a powerfully dark wake through the town as friends become suspects.

Season 01, Episode 02
While the Solano family grieves after their son’s death, the detectives discover evidence in Chloe’s room and Mark is not entirely truthful. Beth seeks out the town minister, her old friend Paul Coates.

Season 01, Episode 03
During the investigation, Mark is caught in a lie and subsequently brought in for questioning; Gemma opens up to the detectives; and Carver has a chat with Ellie’s husband, Tom.

Season 01, Episode 04
A revelation that Danny had some secrets of his own opens the door to new suspects, while Det. Carver keeps things close to the vest and it could have an impact on the case.

Season 01, Episode 05
Beth makes a decision to open up to the press just as Jack Reinhold’s shady past is revealed.

Season 01, Episode 06
The locals continue to turn on Jack, but there’s someone else in town with something to hide. Meanwhile, Beth finally confronts Gemma.

Season 01, Episode 07
Another child disappears as Det. Miller deals with a family crisis and Det. Carver receives a surprise visitor at the police station.

Season 01, Episode 08
Trying to adapt to life without Danny, members of the Solano family head back to work and school, while police bring in Susan Wright for questioning after the local paper digs up some unsettling news about her.

Season 01, Episode 09
As Det. Carver’s heart condition worsens, his supervisor gives him 24 hours to find the killer, while Beth seeks advice from Paul Coates, and Susan Wright surprises all with a revelation.

Season 01, Episode 10
In the series finale, detectives apprehend Danny’s killer.
