The 2018 NBA Finals is the championship series of the NBA’s 2017–18 season and conclusion of the season’s playoffs. The best-of-seven playoff will pit the Eastern Conference champion Cleveland Cavaliers against the defending NBA champion and Western Conference champion Golden State Warriors. It is the fourth straight season the two rivals have met in the finals, marking the first time that the same two teams in any of North America’s four major professional sports leagues have met for the championship four consecutive times.
