Diplomats, soldiers and other representatives of a dozen nations fend off the siege of the International Compound in Peking during the 1900 Boxer Rebellion. The disparate interests unite for survival despite competing factions, overwhelming odds, delayed relief and tacit support of the Boxers by the Empress of China and her generals.

The days when acting was the forte and special effects were mere gimmicks to insert a break… They don’t make films like these anymore. Some of the younger audience will be at loss for words, but it’s true. Today’s movies are all about the special effects and the blood and gore and in second place comes some good acting.
Thanks for sharing…will bring back childhood memories to most no doubt. 🙂
