After spending 22 years in the Buddhafield cult, filmmaker Will Allen recounts his dramatic experiences in this new CNN documentary. Allen joined the group in 1985 at the age of 22 and wouldn’t leave until 2007. During that time he worked closely with the cult’s leader, “Michel,” who is accused of sexually and psychologically abusing his followers, many of whom still reside alongside him in Hawaii.
